The app lets you browse and search Epicurious.com's database of over 28,000 editor-created and tested recipes, toggling between an easy-to-view shopping format, and a recipe format that shows one instruction step at a time.

Proven recipes: Over 28,000 professionally tested recipes to ensure a delicious meal.
As these recipes are mainly taken from magazines, namely Gourmet and Bon Appétit, plus web-exclusive recipes from renowned chefs and cookbook authors, it's real fun just to flip through the pictures.
Don't expect to find "How to create a diner under $10 for 8 people recipe". While the app is free, you probably have to calculate a little more than usual to buy the sometimes unusual ingredients. Not unusual for a 5-star chef, but probably missing in your pantry.
Once you found the recipe that you want to try, it spits out a shopping list for you.
